As promised

CAROLYN’S FAMOUS
SWEET ONION CASSEROLE

Heat Oven to 350. Sauté 4 lg. sweet onions (finely sliced) in ¼ c. butter about 20 minutes. Mix ¼ c. melted butter & 6 oz. crushed Ritz crackers, together. Reserve ¼ crumb mixture, set aside. Layer remaining crumbs on the bottom of a greased 9x13 pan. Spread onions. Top w/ 8 oz shredded cheese. Combine 3 lg eggs, 1 c. milk, pepper to taste, paprika to taste & pour over. Top w/ crumb mix. Bake until brown about 30 min.
